Laura C. Ames, Esq.
LAURA C. AMES received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Vermont and earned her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School, where she served as a certified advisor to the Battered Women's Advocacy Clinic. She is admitted to the Massachusetts bar.
Laura's practice focuses on the representation of individuals and families in developing comprehensive estate plans. She provides guidance to clients to help them achieve their long term wealth transfer goals in a thoughtful and tax efficient manner. Laura also advises families throughout the probate process by assisting clients in fulfilling their fiduciary responsibilities as Personal Representatives, Guardians and Conservators. She is also experienced in the preparation and filing of estate and gift tax returns.
While attending UVM, Laura was a member of the women's varsity soccer team, and she continues to be active in soccer leagues in the Boston area.
Laura is a member of the Boston Estate Planning Council and the Trusts and Estates Consortium.
