GILBERT S. BASS, a 1962 graduate of Boston University Law School, received his LL.M in taxation in 1963. Following his graduation with honors from the graduate program, he was appointed as special attorney for the Office of Chief Counsel, U.S. Treasury Department for the Internal Revenue Service. Prior to opening his private practice in 1966, he was employed as a tax specialist for Coopers & Lybrand. Mr. Bass concentrates on tax, corporate and business planning, as well as probate, trust and estate planning. He has lectured to many professional and business groups on estate, business planning and financial matters and has contributed articles on these topics to several professional tax journals. Mr. Bass currently serves on the Board of Directors of Bay State College and Riverside Community Care.
