RACHEL L. KALIN, a graduate of Columbia University, earned her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School and her LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University School of Law. She is admitted to the Massachusetts bar. Rachel’s practice focuses on the representation of individuals, multi-generation families, and business owners in the planning of their estates. She works closely with her clients and their advisors to properly structure family and business assets in order to best leverage planning opportunities to mitigate the impact of estate, gift, and generation skipping transfer taxes. She also provides strategic advice and guidance to clients regarding the non-tax considerations which many families face during the course of their wealth preservation planning for future generations. Her practice extends to estate and trust administration, as well as guardianships and conservatorships. She represents fiduciaries in the administration of complex estates and is experienced in the preparation and filing of estate and gift tax returns. Rachel is a member of the Boston Estate Planning Council, the Trusts and Estates Consortium, and is actively involved with the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
